Why you should become a volunteer
Participating in our programme is extremely rewarding as Animal Assisted Therapy does not only improve the life of the patient, but also of the dog handler and the dog itself.
How to become a volunteer
In order to become part of the team, you will first need to go through an assessment to see if you and/or your dog are appropriate for appropriate for our programmes.
Complete the forms attached below and fax them to 011 766 3728 or email the documents to tracy@smfm.co.za. If your application is successful you will need to attend one of our in person assessments.
