About Us

Who we are

Paws for People was established by Lesley de Klerk in 1997 and has been going strong for 22 years – that’s 154 in dog years! We specialise in therapy dogs for Retirement homes, Frail Care Centres, Schools and more.

We are always looking for experienced and dedicated handlers and dogs to join our team!

Dog Training

We also offer comprehensive dog training for puppies, adolescent and older dogs.

Educational Programmes

Not only do we assist those in need, we also do educational programmes where we visit schools.
